M1 Closures 14 September - 2nd October 2022

Please find below the updated traffic management bulletin for the M1 junction 13 to 16 upgrade for week commencing 12 September and includes closure information until Sunday 1 October 2022. The information also includes closures for the Northampton Gateway Project, highlighted in yellow.

Please note the M1 J13 to 16 scheme will not have any planned closures from 6am on Friday 16 September to 6am on Tuesday 20 September.

Roadworks affect all journeys, which is why it is important they are completed as quickly and safely as possible. We are keeping all aspects of our overnight closures under constant review during this period and will aim where possible to open the road earlier than the times displayed. The precise dates and times of the works may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, we'll keep you updated of significant changes. Please note this bulletin does not include any emergency closures that may be needed during this period.

Please be considerate of residents living along the diversion routes when travelling during these closures. Closures can only be installed once traffic flows are at their lowest. Please do not use country roads to access the M1 unless on the strategic diversion route set out on our website.
